    Frank6997 - The error is from the fact that there is no armour in the armour list. If you drag Combat Armour onto the NPC it will remove the error. This is because its an older module that hasn't been brought up-to-date.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply Conspiracy. That's a bit of a shame. One of the main reason for buying the books was to have NPCs preset.

    Which npc are you trying to access? I've tried opening the npc from the npcs side panel as well as from the book and I've not encountered the error. Please provide screenshots if possible of your loaded modules and the error so I can try to replicate it?

    Hi,
    Some screenshots are above Conspiracy reply. I'll add more here. Limit of 5 per post apparently
    It seems the error only happens with human NPC's from the Pirates of Drinax books with armour. I have made a copy of a NPC then added armour to them and the error stops (for the copy).
    Just testing some things. Seems all the NPC's for the Drinax books need an update. Androids are missing there natural armour, but gives no error. Revert gets it back until I close the NPC then it's gone again.
    And for all NPC's (except animals) the attack modifier from skills like gun combat are not working. Also the Hawk warrior laser stagger rifle does not have laser in damage. all other NPCs I checked do have the correct damage types where applicable.
    I guess the issue is the Pirate of Drinax books themselves have not been updated to work with the new 2022 onward rules hence the disconnect.
    Issue also happens for the free death station NPC's too.

    Thank you, sorry I missed some of the responses. I will try to replicate the issue and see if I can make the code more robust.

    I have updated the code to not overwrite the protection entries if they exist and to not try to reset the mods when the record is reverted and closed. I'm testing and will hopefully be able to push a hotfix tomorrow or Thursday.

    The bugs were intruduced as part of the NPC enhancements I've made to allow for automation of attack mods and psi abilities as well as tracking armour and enhancement bonuses. I've added safeguards so the script errors should not appear and enhanced the code to not overwrite the existing weapon attack bonus and armour values if they have been set. In addition, I've found that one module, the Fifth Frontier war: the riverland had npcs where the PSI value was loaded into traits and I've added a check to extract and set the PSI characteristic in this case.

    Please wait for the hotfix to be made available and you should be able to test.
