    LFP: Need 4 For 5e Tomb Of Horrors (with OS feel) Fridays 8pm EST.

    Game System: 5e 2014 (with some inspiration from Shadowdark, see below for changes)

    Roleplay & Combat mix: probably more combat, but roleplay between characters
    Number of Players in game & needed: have 1 committed, need 4 more.
    Character starting level & equipment: Level 12, with 2 magic items (with-in reason, determined by the DM)
    Character restrictions: Only PHB, DMG. No evil. No multiclass.

    Details of your scenario:

    I have been wanting to run Tomb of Horrors for a while now, and I know most players are too afraid to play the original version so decided to try the 5e version, if you are an "old-school" type of player then this is probably for you.

    One of the most important requirements I'm looking for is YOUR commitment to the group. What I mean by this is: if you believe you cannot consistently make the sessions, please do not respond!

    Mature only please. If you are easily offended, then this game is NOT for you. If you require an “X” card, then this campaign is definitely NOT for you! Though our group is pretty level headed, I don't want anyone to be "walking on egg shells" because a player may get triggered or offended for something that may be said.

    5e Custom Rules Changes:

    *Player characters DO NOT have Darkvision innate, while most other creatures are dark adapted.
    *Player characters CANNOT multi-class.
    *All sources of lights (including spells, torches and lanterns) last 1 hour of REAL TIME.
    *A long rest requires 3 torches combined into a campfire. , and each character must consume 1 ration. If the long rest is interrupted, a DC 10 Constitution check is required, if the check is failed you gain no benefits from a long rest but still consume the ration.
    *Player characters have a "Belt" that can hold up to 2 potion vials . These vials can be used as a bonus action.

    Spells:
    *Goodberry: does not exist.
    *Darkvision: does not exist.
    *Leomund's Tiny Hut: does not exist.
    *Light cantrip: is a now a level 1 spell.
    *Rope Trick: does not exist.
    *Arcane Eye: does not have darkvision
    *Mordenkaines's Private Sanctum: does not exist
    *Create Food and Water: does not exist.
    *Heroes' Feast: the benefits only last for 2 hours NOT 24.
    *Devil's Sight: only has a range of 20 ft, NOT 120 ft.

    Feats:
    *Crossbow Expert: only works for hand crossbows.
    *Mobile: you must make a successful "hit" to NOT provoke an opportunity attack from creature.
    *Sentinel: does not exist
    *Sharpshooter: attacking at long range DOES impose disadvantage / You can choose to take up to a - 5 penalty to the ATK roll. If the attack hits, you add the amount misused from the ATK roll to the attacks damage.
    *Keen Mind: you have ADVANTAGE on an INT roll to accurately recall anything you have seen or heard within the past month.
    *Alert: creatures have DISADVANGE when trying to surprise you.
    *Great Weapon Master: you can choose to take up to a - 5 penalty to the ATK roll. If the attack hits, you add the amount misused from the ATK roll to the attacks damage.
    *Inspiring Leader Prerequisite: Charisma 16 or higher
    *Observant: you have a 75% chance to interpret what a creature is saying while reading lips while it is speaking a language you understand.
    *Skulker Prerequisite: Dexterity 16 or higher
    *War Caster: You DO NOT have advantage on CON checks to maintain concentration, instead you gain +2 bonus in addition to any other bonus you have.

    Magic Items
    *Items that have charges DO NOT regain charges, after the last charge is spent on an item it ceases to be magical or crumbles away.
