D&D 5E and 6E compatiiblity in Fantasy Grounds
If you are using 5E rules, can you use at the same time 6E content? I'd like to use the 6E monster manual with 5E in Fantasy Grounds if its possible.
If not, some copy and pasting when need be, but then the question would be compatibility in copy and pasting.

The records that are different can be toggled at the bottom, but you may need to do some swapping of data if you do swap from legacy to 2E and vice versa, but yes, both records are available at the same time.

WotC does not call the latest edition of D&D 6E. You may get confused if you don't use their terminology like FG does.
The original 5E rules for D&D that were released starting in 2014 are called "Legacy". The 'new' rules that WotC began releasing in 2024 are called the "2024" rules. The 5E D&D ruleset for FG supports content from both. But you do have to set a default version (Legacy or 2024) so FG known how to handle things like Exhaustion. But source books from both version as well as spells, NPCs, and characters for both versions can be mixed in one campaign.

Just agreeing to steer people from confusion. There’s no such thing as 6e for d&d officially.

You can use the content from 5E and the new 2024 content together in the same campaign. There is a record version for each entry that tells whether it is for 2024 or Legacy. For monsters, the 2024 version uses the newer stat block style and the legacy ones use the ones from before. You can even use monsters from both editions in the same campaign if you choose.
