Error when opening Inventory item
My Players are receiving an error when they open the Inventory tab or open any Inventory item.
Once the Item has been opened it won't produce an error until the application is exited and re-entered.
I cannot reproduce locally (either as a GM or as a player instance) only the players experience it.
Code:[1/26/2025 3:18:59 PM] [ERROR] Script execution error: [string "RolemasterClassic:..cripts/char_invlist.lua"]:58: attempt to index field 'inventory_iedit' (a nil value) [1/26/2025 3:18:59 PM] [ERROR] Script execution error: [string "RolemasterClassic:..cripts/char_invlist.lua"]:58: attempt to index field 'inventory_iedit' (a nil value) [1/26/2025 3:20:28 PM] [WARNING] setValue: Recursive call terminated for (CONTROL_NUMBER) (total) [1/26/2025 3:20:34 PM] [ERROR] Script execution error: [string "RolemasterClassic:..cripts/char_invlist.lua"]:58: attempt to index field 'inventory_iedit' (a nil value)
Let me know if you need anything else).

I've moved this thread to the Rolemaster Classic forum. This is the best place to post issues/questions regarding this ruleset.
Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

The "inventory_iedit" reference is not used in the RMC ruleset at all; so...
First thing to try is loading without any extensions.
Second, and longer is to:
* Open FG data folder via button in upper left of the FG launch screen
* Go to vault subfolder
* Delete DGA080.dat file
* Go back to FG data folder
* Go to rulesets subfolder
* Delete RolemasterClassic folder and/or RolemasterClass.pak file.
* Return to FG
* Run a new Check for Updates.

Sorry, I must have uploaded the wrong GM Logs. I turned off all of the extensions (although none of them should be affecting Inventory), and we still saw the same result.
Extensions:
GM Icon (Just changes the GM icon in Chat)
Additional MERP Languages and Fonts v1.0.1 - Just languages for the Players and fonts for each one
Player Agency - For Notes
World Builder - I do not really use this one to be honest, but it comes as a bundle
Investigator Basic - I do not really use this one to be honest, but it comes as a bundle
Dear Diary Basic - Player Calendar (like the Player Agency one).
As I mentioned I cannot reproduce locally (even with a second instance connected as a player).
Only my players experience it.
So, guessing, they should perhaps clear cache, and delete RolemasterClass.paK and let them connect again to get the updated version?
Any other suggestions?

I believe that clearing the cache will solve yes.
I would do the following:
1 - Excludes the folder of Campaign / Adventure of Folder Cache.
2 - Delight the safe path of the Join Game part
3 - I would verify update, through the settings (that button to force the update)
4 - Close FGU
5 - Enter the campaign / adventure
6 - I would set my player options
7 - I would provide the available modules
8 - I would take possession of my character.Last edited by YAKO SOMEDAKY; January 27th, 2025 at 18:25.

Clearing the cache on the remote users, resolved this error.
