Nube here. When purchasing DLC what format allows for VTT use?

Welcome to the FG forums!
All Fantasy Grounds DLC is usable in Fantasy Grounds only. Most Paizo products (except small scenarios) provide the Paizo PDF with the FG purchase.
Certain image types, and universal VTT images, can be loaded into FG, see the details here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...uct+Guidelines
Beyond that, you'll need to manually load aspects of RPG products not available directly on FG into your FG campaign for use during your FG games.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. I'm not sure I'm following your question? Any FGU DLC will work with the virtual tabletop. However different ruleset data, ie 5E, 3.5E ect data is not normally fully cross compatible (though it can be party compatible). What ruleset and DLC are you talking about? Or something else?

If you are purchasing via the FG Store, the FG Forge, or via linked to FG in Steam; it will all work. If purchasing on the DMsGuild you need to make sure it is the Fantasy Grounds version and not the Roll20 version and as Trenloe says you will have to install it yourself. There are no other stores I'm aware of to purchase FG content.
