Training a Campaign AI Bot
Has anyone setup their own campaign or setting specific AI bot? One they could train with ruleset and setting specific information and then use it to help further develop their setting and campaign? If so, what did you use and was it worth the effort?
For instance, being able to train it with setting specific outline and then us the AI to help further develop the setting (such as secret organizations) and then specify what new information becomes "canon" and is used for further development? (Yes I know it would need to have a LLM to draw from more than the trained/specified data.)

I would like more info on this. I used ChatGPT to create my current setting for my home game. But, since the info in each conversation ends up getting lost due to memory constraints it wasn't good for long term use. One work around for ChatGPT is make sure you save all that data into a word doc or pdf and then upload it to ChatGPT. You will end up needing to upload a few times in a conversation if it goes too long, or you will start getting conflicting info. Usually best to just start a new conversation and re-upload the doc.

I like the idea of uploading the doc to refresh it's "memory". I've effectively been putting together a campaign doc with the help of CoPilot. But as you know, each time I have to re-educate it on what I want. Would love to be able to have it help me generate NPCs based upon the setting. i.e. know what races are available, how to create names for each species, descriptions ranges for each species, etc.
Ultimately, and maybe this is still some time in the future, but I would love a bot that I could make available to my players to search on setting info that I've 'approved'. As well as have it able to help me fill out planets as the party approaches them, city descriptions, etc.
EDIT: if you have a sample of a doc you keep and re-feed to the AI, would love to see what you do there.

Using Google LM Notebook seems to be much more consistent, but a bit less creative. It also will actually use any content you upload that is under 200 MB. PDF's, video URLs, websites, documents, copy and pasted text, etc. Much more reliable for consistency in research, organization, and note taking.

The attached has been working for me (most of it was created with heavy influence from ChatGPT).
Sometimes, you may want to copy/paste a specific part of your work to help the AI drill down into what kind of response you want. For instance, if you wanted an NPC based on a specific culture, copy/paste all of the info for the culture and ask the AI specific, leading questions.
Example: Provide a name, physical description, preferred deity etc. etc. etc based on the following:
[then paste the info from your campaign guide for that culture and any other part you specifically want referenced.]
Example: Provide a few examples of what rituals are used by the priests of a [specific deity] based on the following:
[paste the info for that deity]
