HTTP 524 error when running updater
I just tried to update FGU and got a strange error. Screenshot is attached.
A quick web search tells me that an HTTP 524 status code is a timeout code related to Cloudflare.
Here is the log info from the updater:

I can't tell if this might be related to this issue reported yesterday. I also did not see anyone else having yet reported this issue, so I can't rule out that it's just an issue from my computer.

This suggests that something like anti virus or flood protection or QoS settings on your router. Make sure that you have exceptions in your AV for fantasy grounds and fantasy grounds updater as a first step.

So about 5 minutes after I posted, after trying again a few more times, the updates started going through. They were significantly slower than usual, but they did complete successfully. I didn't change anything on my end to make it work. This tells me that the issue was in between me and the servers hosting the updates, and that the issue has been (at least partially) restored.
Thanks!

CloudFlare is the service SmiteWorks to protect their servers in terms security, performance and reliability. Ususlly they are extremely reliable and I don't see any outages reported since August. But sometimes things happen. Glad things are working again for you.
