V1.28 - Bug - FGU underlying execution somehow shifted so that my end turn override didn't get applied anymore. Fixed.

V1.30 - Update/Bug - FGU no longer properly processes a double click in maps that are not simple (not much or any LOS/Lighting). Using middle mouse button to also do the onDoubleClick logic here.

Hello. My friends and I just started FGU playing Pathfinder. We realized after we bought the game that only 1 of us can DM. When we started playing together we agreed to do shorter 2 to 3 month campaigns and switch the DM between us to keep it fresh. So I have 2 questions. One does this extension work for Pathfinder? Two would it add enough functionality for a player to actually DM for a party? I strongly disagree with how FGU has made all of the modules so expensive and requires each DM to purchase separately. We were planning to pool resources and buy the majority of everything but I'm starting to have buyers remorse and I'm considering just quitting if I can't DM anymore.

“5E only” means wont work for other rulesets including pathfinder.
This extension, as you can see reading forum posts, .txt file, and videos allows a player to assist DM by running NPCs for them. Mostly used for players to have full control of NPCS they own with same CT options host has.
I strongly agree with how ultimate license has allowed me to be only one that has to purchase anything as DM and how players (6) all play for free.Free(Forums/Forge) Extension(FGU 5E):

Hi, I've recently started to use this extension and I'm a big fan of its functionalities.
I just wanted to report that (unless I'm doing something wrong) monsters controlled by players don't have their bonus actions listed on the player side of the combat tracker (meaning that as a GM I can see the bonus actions being there on my side of the CT, but on the player side, the BAs are just not there). I've tested this with just Assistant GM loaded. The issue only seems to affect bonus actions, all the other types of actions (even legendary) and traits are shown correctly.

#1. It would be illegal under copyright law for SW to allow the sharing of those resources. SW only has the right to sell these products to an individual's account under the rules set by the copyright holder.
#2. They have to charge what they charge to cover their costs and pay the staff they have. SW only gets part of the price charged and the rest goes to the copyright owner (and the governments involved, lol).
#3. Both of these issues are going to be for any VTT, not just Fantasy Grounds (unless there are some shenanigans going on).
#4. There is technically a workaround, but it would require you to give access of your SW account to someone else. Which is probably illegal in itself.
#5. Another work around is for you to upload all of the data yourself into a module, export that module then share with your friends. Be warned, the sharing part would still be illegal under copyright law, even if you do not charge your friends.

Ok I hotspotted my iphone to look at this, and I can see a goblin with bonus actions (traits) and they are displayed in client CT - I can bandit captain with bonus actions? (reactions) and they are displayed. I have no idea what 5E MM, MotM NPCs to look at that have these missing bonus actions in Host CT that are not in Client CT. You'll have to identify one or two for me to look at.

V1.33 - Update - make hidden effects and targeting of NPC seen in their CT entry display if they own it. Can leave leftover effects visible on client CT entry when ownership is removed - this is because FGU does not refresh the effect summary unless effects are changed. If you filter out non owned NPCs via faction/combat group filters this will not be noticeable.
Also, because FGU does not update client CT effect summaries unless an effect is changed, if you have any leftover effects from turning off ownership of an NPC make sure you change one of the effects so that it updates. Personally, when I drag a host NPC CT link over the Clear button to clear its ownership I will also be flipping one of the effect list buttons for that NPC CT entry like GM/VSBL back and forth to trigger the update on the client CT in case it was not being filtered out (if it is who cares its gone). Probably same for targeting (only will clear the target(s) as its changing back to host control anyway so will need to retarget likely or clear anyway).Last edited by SilentRuin; Today at 06:11.
