Mongoose Traveller 2E ruleset

Does the Mongoose Traveller 2E ruleset contain the Mongoose Traveller 2E PDF or is it just the ruleset? I'm looking into Fantasy Grounds and trying to figure things out before I spend money.

Well, I don't own it so I can only go by the store description. It says it has the "Traveller Core Rulebook". And given the other MGT2 books available on the store, it seem like that is the basic rules. It does not contain a PDF. Generally, no FG product contain PDF version of the products. All the text and pictures are put into FG. For older products like this they will be story entries and images. All this said, you should be able to "read" everything you need right in FG.

And note, FG store purchases have a 30 day refund policy, so you can buy it and see. Do note "Requires: An active subscription or a one time purchase of a Fantasy Grounds Unity license"

No the FG books do not have the free PDF that purchasing a dead tree version from the Mongoose site gives you.

That being said, you could try emailing Mongoose a copy of your receipt from SmiteWorks to see if they will give you the PDF. They do do that for people who purchase dead tree books from local game stores.

Someday (most likely not soon) there will be an app to view the Module and Rulebook content we have in FG without the full program. That project is off in the distance currently.

While it doesnt come with the pdf i can atest it is a well made ruleset for FGU, im certainly enjoying it
