Conan 2d20 - how to get started?

    Hello,

would love any advice on how to be able to run a Conan 2d20 game on FGU. I feel it was the system I've been looking for without knowing I was looking for it until recently. Since the Conan license is now with Monolith, I'm guessing there is no store to buy the Conan 2d20 ruleset module from. If anyone has any suggestions on how to be able to obtain anything Conan 2d20 related, I'd love some help.

You won't be able to get access to the official 2d20 Conan ruleset, as you point out the license is no longer valid and the product can't be sold/distributed anymore. This goes for the PDFs of the products as well. The best you can do is look for used physical books on sale if you don't already have any of the Modiphius books. If you're wanting to play in Conan 2d20 in Fantasy Grounds then you may be able to use one of the available 2d20 rulesets and work around the differences - although I'm not sure how well that will work with the three 2d20 rulesets available in the store. You may be limited to running with CoreRPG/MoreCore/XCore and setting up the main dice rolls/data fields that will make the game a bit more playable in FG. I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's unfortunately the main options.
Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

Only suggesting this option bc it's no longer viable for GMs here who didn't already have it but there is a working Foundry sheet. I played around with it and it's a bit of a pain but it does work (most of the time)... If you need to do FG, Damned's X-Core ruleset in the Forge works really well with 2d20 but you're stuck with no viable library except what you create. I built the Infinity 2d20 system in and it works well (again, no library though so I abandoned it bc as anyone here who does this for a living can tell you it's a lot of work and I don't do this for a living).

There are only probably 3 ruleset devs that do this for a living. They are all SmiteWorks employees.
