NPC Psion
Hi all, I am creating psion NPCs in the Traveller ruleset. The NPC window is showing the PSI characteristic, however I cannot find where to add the Psi Abilities. The Skills entry won't accept them when I drag and drop. On the player sheet there is a separate part of the skills tab. I may be missing a setting somewhere. Thanks

Go to your options in game and scroll down untill you see "Characteristics" set use psi characteristics to option_val_yes. you should now have a psi talent section in the skills tab to allow you to drag/drop. And a psi characteristic on the main page stats.

Thank you. I really appreciate the response.
I have done that and I think you are referring to the character sheet. However I am looking at the NPC character sheet. On the NPC sheet I also have the addition of the PSI characteristic however it doesn’t seem to add a line further down for PSI. I tried dropping the PSI abilities into the skills line but it won’t except them. So the outcome is that an NPC can have a PSI characteristic recorded but all abilities have to be handled through a Notes entry. I supposed the alternative is to create PSI NPCs as characters however that means I am jumping between two separate functions for NPCs.
Thanks

The other NPC piece that to me is missing is that when I roll a skill from the NPC sheet it doesn’t use a characteristic modifier. I am using Mongoose 2nd Edition rules and I have always presumed that NPCs get the characteristic modifier in the same way characters do. For example an NPC with Dex 9 and Gun Combat 1 would role 2d6+2. However FGU roles 2d6+1. Perhaps I have the rules wrong.

Ok i've had a look and can not figure out how to add psi powers to a npc either you might need to wait for someone a bit more knowledge than me to reply and also i do believe you are correct about the npc stat rolls as i picked one with +1 dex & +1 gun combat but it was only rolling 2d6+1 instead of +2, hopefully a dev or mod will see this and pop in and help they are all really good that way.
