Traps
I am trying to create traps for pathfinder 1e material I am working on. I think I have filled in everything correctly. I added the trap to the combat tracker and when I click the fireball damage nothing works. Did I do something wrong in the text part of the effect? I attached a screen shot of the trap.

The Effect line expects exactly the same format as the Attack line on an NPC record. So, you can put something like "Fireball (6d6 fire), Reflex DC 14 half" to be able to roll the damage from there; but it's not set up to do spells. You can use the Spells tab to add the Fireball there; and be able to have specific rolls for saves (half) and damage.

as moon wizard said.
you'd want to set it up in the spells tab, which can be dragged to combat tracker like an npc where it can automate saves as well once you selected all targets. and half damage on save will be automated too.
i have hazards set up similarly (see image)

you’re very welcome.
the main tab is pretty much just there as info to explain / remind you as gm what it does. helpful details but not for actual actionable fg mechanics.
have fun and enjoy dropping the damages on those pesky pcs!-----
