Hello,

How may I set a 'darkvision' effect on a PC ?

Good Day Jimlock
On the main page of the PC sheet there is a spot that says Senses. You can type in: Darkvision 60 for 60 feet of darkvision. You can also add it to Effects in the Combat Tracker by typing in: VISION: 60 darkvision

Note that if the PC gets darkvision from their race then it will be automatically added to their character sheet (just where @Bonkdon says) when the race is dragged in or if you select the race in the Character Wizard.
