    Desktop portrait and dice question

I noticed that when a player joins the campaign a portrait square appears with our account name, the question is... one day will we be able to place an image in that location and taking advantage of the question I realized that the update gave us dice with different colors one day Will we be able to create or rather choose different colors for different dice?

I've moved this to its own thread as this was only vaguely related to the support issue in the thread posted. Please only post in a thread if it is 100% related.

Thanks Trenloe, now I just have to wait and see if I get a response.

I'm not sure what the question is as regards the first part. What image would you want there other than the players portrait?

As regards the dice many of the dice can be coloured. Look for ones with a little palette icon on them.

Zacchaeus now with the update we have an option chosen that creates each dice of a color and so I would like to know if one day we will be able to choose the color or effect for each dice individually. I would like to see this and even control the transparency to create translucent dice.

Once a player choses a character, their username square goes away and the PC portrait activates. So I'm not sure why you would want a username to have a portrait. Maybe if for some reason you have a viewer that doesn't play a PC? But if you're interested in this, you should add it to the Feature Request list and give a use case so others would understand the value.

I've never heard any talk about being able to define each die individually. It's a good idea and it too should be added to the Feature Request list so it can be tracked and voted upon.

Hmmm, I could see maybe wanting it tied to the forum profile avatar. If you are playing with a bunch of random people at a con, or a pick-up game.

OK, so you want to have a yellow six sided dice and a blue eight sided dice?

I believe transparency was switched off for technical reasons (I'm pretty sure that it was available during the early beta testing that I did - but it was quickly switched off when it was pointed out the dice could be transparent - possibly because you could make them completely invisible). I don't think either it will be technically possible to change the colours of fx. I seem to remember that posing technical issues as well.

However there's no harm in adding your desires to the feature request list as LE notes above.

Yes it would basically be that, choose the color of each die and not change the color of the effect, but let's say a D6 with Thunder effect, a D20 with Fire effect and so on...

We already have dice where you can change the color of their FX. Knots of Fate is one example... Or the blood dice.
