Converting Simple Stories to Books
With the new architecture (v4.5.x) how do I convert simple stories to Advanced Stories and Books?
How can this be done one-by-one?
How can this be done in bulk via the UI or XML? (i.e. I have a module with hundreds of stories).

The only way I'm aware of inside FGU is to copy paste the text from the story into a book.
You could write the stories into the xml but you'd need to do that by hand.If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

You should be able to drag and drop the story entry into the book index; and it should add a page linked to the simple story entry.

I wonder if there'd be a reasonable way to allow the book window to open the simple entries on the right hand viewing pane, but if people wanted to, to pop them out like the old story behavior. A global preference for the behavior, in other words.
I don't *hate* the current behavior but it's not ideal for the older story entries I've dragged into the campaign book.

You can do that already by dragging the link at the top of the book page window; or by searching for the page title in the Story campaign list sidebar.
