Mac Dock icon doesn't seem to be updated

Hi,

Just as per the title, really.

I've noticed that on Mac, while the Dock icon for the FGU Updater was updated with the new graphic, the Dock icon for FGU itself remained the old one (maybe it's intended?) as you can see in the attached screenshot.

It's not something controlled by the application; since the icon is correctly updated in the application and works after these steps.

Looks like this is a MacOS issue with dock icon caching. I followed the steps in this developer Q&A to reset.

I couldn't find any other settings/options to reset the icon cache without command line options; but perhaps there are some Mac experts who know a better way.

Thanks Moon. Nalistar, if you open the terminal app and paste these lines of code and hit return it will work with BigSur and newer OS.

rm -r /var/folders/*/*/*/com.apple.iconservices*
killall Dock
