    Increase damage die type

I'm creating a weapon in Savage Pathfinder that has the Bane effect, which includes increasing the damage die by one type. Is it possible to do this using an effect? I've tried several things and it doesn't seem to work.

    [>Damage vs Evil +1d]

    [>Damage +1d]

Right now I've just set up a sub-attack instead, which works well enough.

    Currently you can do
    Code:
    [>Double Damage vs Evil]
    or
    Code:
    [> Damage vs Evil +4]
    but there's currently no
    Code:
    [>Extra:Damage =3d vs Evil]
and there's curently no effect that increases the damage type at all.

Thanks, that's what it seemed like. After considering and testing it further, it's probably best not to automate since "Evil" would encompass too large a group of creatures (it will be more like the Champion edge, vs "supernatural" evil).

Bane cannot be automated, you have to create a sub-attack.

Lonewolf would be able to explain in great detail why, but it is down to how the effect system works and when it checks I think.

    Anyway just create a sub-attack.
My players just defeated an army, had a dogfight with aliens, machine-gunned the zombies, stormed the tower, became Legendary and died heroically

Yours are still on combat round 6
