FIY there is a very nice Delta Green Humble Bundle. Be quick, there is only 6 days left.
It includes lots of awesome assets, including "Assets: Murder Boards 1".
It will give you a lot of new clips, envelopes, sticky notes, cork boards... That you can easily add to Strings and Pins!
And I thought I was the first to imagine this tool... Silly me

"Ability to add text to maps" is showing as "In Development" so will hopefully be available at some point...
