Where are the option settings saved?
A friend will soon start GMing a campaign on FG. I would like to share the options settings (the various Chat: ring on whisper... things) that I have been using in my campaign with him. Are they all saved in the
CampaignRegistry.lua
file in the campaign folder, and if so could he just copy that file in his campaign folder?
What happens if some settings come from extensions he does not have or hasn't loaded, are they just going to be ignored or could that cause problems?

The user-specific options (first section) are stored in CampaignRegistry.lua. The rest of them are stored in the campaign database for each campaign under the options tag in the database XML.

You would need to start a new campaign and set all of the options that you want. Then give your friend a copy of the entire campaign folder. As Moon Wizard says option choices are in two different places. Also don't load any extensions to your campaign so that you are not clouding anything by including those options in the files.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

If it’s D&D 5e, check out the Grim Press extensions on the Forge - Equipped Effects https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/158/view has a feature to import and export your Options Settings.
