DND 5e Character Wizard, under Equipment, Add Items, Gear, there are entries for Ball Bearings (1,000), Ball Bearings (100), and Ball Bearings (Bag of 1,000). They all have the same description and effect, but the 100 costs 1/100 as much and weighs 1/10 as much. Should these all be the same?
Also, the 1,000 and 100 entries have a closing quote at the end of their description with no opening quote.

This won't be a Character Wizard problem so by accident you've reported correctly (Character Wizard bugs have their own thread). Now, having said that what books do you have open - there's probably many modules with ball bearings in them, including adventures, where the cost, and weight, and the quantity available could be different. The only entry in the PHB is the one for Ball Bearings (1,000).

After applying today's updates, Books loaded as player are: 5E SRD Data, D&D Basic Rules - Players, D&D Dungeon Master's Guide - Players, D&D Essentials Kit Rulebook, D&D Player's Handbook, D&D Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide - Players, D&D Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse - Players, D&D Spelljammer Astral Adventurer's Guide - Players, D&D Tasha's Cauldron of Everything - Players, and D&D Xanathar's Guide to Everything - Players. Pulling up the Items list, I find

• Ball Bearings (1,000) from D&D Player's Handbook: has a closing quote at the end of the text but no opening quote.
• Ball Bearings (1,000) from D&D Essentials Kit Rulebook: Identical to PHB including the closing quote (no opening quote).
• Ball Bearings (1,000) from 5E SRD Data: Identical to PHB including the closing quote (no opening quote).
• Ball Bearings (100) from 5E SRD Data: The text is identical to PHB including the closing quote (no opening quote), but with a cost of 1 cp (1/100 of the others) and weight of 0.2 (1/10 of the others).
• Ball Bearings (Bag Of 1,000) from D&D Basic Rules - Players: a) no ending quote (good), b) ending of text is "... doesn't need to make the saving throw." vs the others are "... doesn't need to make this save.", c) Subtype is "Standard Adventuring Gear" where the others are all "Standard" (all 5 have a Type = Adventuring Gear).

Thanks for the additional information.

First if you have the PHB then you don't need the SRD Data, Essentials, or Basic rules open (or even shared). So you should remove those from the modules shared with your players. Having all of those open could cause confusion and possibly also break characters created with them. Not entirely sure why the SRD has the extra 100 Ball bearings. It's not in the original documentation, so I'll take a note to remove that. I don't see anything wrong with the wording since they mean the same thing. I'll take a note to remove the quotes since as you point out they are superfluous but fortunately don't affect anything.
