Making tokens?
I have been playing with Token Stamp and it seems easy to use, but how does one trim off the excess image that is outside the token frame?

First of all, Welcome!
I do not use that software. if there is excess image around the token i think it is not saving the file as a .png so it has an alpha channel.
Make sure you are saving as a .png.
Back in the day i used THIS ONE to make tokens. I would say they work the same. This on can be used offline.
If you want to trim an image you would need some kind of photo editing software.(Photoshop, Gimp, Paint)
Good luck and happy gaming..

The site was glitching, today it is hiding the excess image, thanks.

I'm using Figma to create most of my stuff. It's free and relatively easy to use.

I use GIMP it does not seem very fast, but I have become good at it.
These are the modules and extensions created and/or taken over by dellanx for PFRPG.
I had a lot of help and advice from many here at FG.
Thank You!

I've been using Token Maker for creating my RPG tokens, and it’s really user-friendly. One of the great features is that it automatically trims any excess image outside the token frame when you upload your character image. Just make sure you choose the right border and adjust the settings as needed.
If you still have issues with excess image parts, you might want to double-check that you’re saving the file as a .png, as this format supports transparent backgrounds. Otherwise, you could use a photo editing tool like Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint to manually trim the image before uploading it to Token Maker.

Or you can use WEBP, it also has the correct support and the recommended file type.
