Conan the Pirate: Proof of Conecpt
I plan on running a pirate game sometime in the near future, so I need to make a battlemap that works with the rules.
So this is my proof of concept for now.. and I will fine tune the looks of it over time.
But for now, it shows the crews of each vessel along with a sea map in the middle where I can place islands, tokens etc to help. So everything is on the one page.

But if anyone wants to test this out in their own games, let me know. I can send you this image as is for now..

So I sat down and spent an hour to make a nice little module for an upcoming game. I bet I could take the full book and turn it into a module with links and tables in a day or so.. have it nice and user friendly too (Draggable links, pop outs) . But I pretty much got the whole ship combat section entered in from the ruleset!
Going to be looking forward to running a few pirate flavored games!

Quite inspiring! Let's hope the Pirate product learns and puts something more than copy-paste of the book.
The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.

Thanks Valyar!
Its got a real bug started with me now, I may just do the whole book.. and a few other of the more important books, like Thief, Barbarian, and one of my favorites Brigand. Its really not that hard to make it, and it will make the use of it that much more enjoyable for the players!

So, in this shot.. I have placed all of the ships into the module, and created ships as a Items. I wish I had the ability to change what the item actually looked like..
I placed it as a Melee Weapon, simply due to the fact I can roll its impact damage.
I also have all the weapons for ships added too..
So with the Battlemap and the sea zone images, I think I can run fairly smoothly a good pirate campaign.
