new to Mutants and Masterminds have a question about powers.

I am trying to find out about Energy Absorption, it says see description but I can't find it's description. Am I missing something?

I don't know anything about Mutants and Masterminds specifically, and there aren't as many users as other game systems; but I'll try to help.

Are you looking for the description in general? If so, I think I found this link online that seems to point to M&M SRD data.

If you are talking about finding the description in the FG implementation of the rulebooks, try following these steps:

* Click the Modules button in the upper right of the tabletop (looks like an open book)
* Find the Hero's Handbook module entry
* Double click the picture for the Hero's Handbook entry (which should open the book icon for that entry)
* Close the Module Activation window
* Click on "The Net" button on the right side of tabletop
* Click on Hero's Handbook at left side of Library
* Click on Reference
* Click on Powers on left side of Reference window
* Click on Sample Powers on the left side in the list that opened under Powers.
* Click on Energy Absorption on the left side in the list that opened under Sample Powers.
* The description of the Energy Absorption sample power should now be on the right side of the Reference window
