About the Game

Info on Esoterrorists background: You are elite investigators combating the plots of the Esoterrorists, a loose affiliation of occult terrorists intent on tearing the fabric of the world and letting the monsters in. Unlike other investigative roleplaying games, The Esoterrorists’ GUMSHOE rules system ensures that the plot never grinds to a halt due to a failed die roll. As top paranormal detectives, you never fail in your areas of expertise. When necessary, you can expend extra effort to glean more from the evidence than any plodding journeyman could hope to find.

A mutilated corpse is found hanging a slaughterhouse, bullet wounds in the shoulders, elbows and knees. It looks like a terrorist punishment killing, but there are subtle clues pointing at Esoterrorist involvement...

Can you stop a terrible chain of events before the world wakes up to headlines which weaken the Membrane and let the creatures of unremitting horror pierce the Outer Black?

Six Packed is a stand-alone adventure for The Esoterrorists, designed to be played in 3-4 hours with minimal preparation. In playtest, hearts were racing as the mystery had to be solved before the deadline.

Six Packed also features creatures designed by Dave Allsop and developed by Adrian Bott.

THIS GAME IS LIKE CALL OF CTHULU in a modern setting, for those new to it. I liken it to an X-Files-style investigation series, but one in which investigators seek to COVER UP the truth, rather than expose (and dangerously spread) it.

Gwyn Cooper, London Police Officer and Henry Hemming, Scotland Yard Technical Specialist;

also Vivian Valentine, Police Negotiator and Graham Pollard, MI-6 Security Agent.

I’d go for Gwynne as the spelling for a woman- never known a Welsh woman named Gwyn.
