Anyone run a long term Hellfrost campaign?
I don't know much about it, trying to get my friend to run it and was looking for someone to give a non-spoiler review/feedback of running this via FG.
We had tried doing a snowy-fantasy campaign with 3.5 d&d but we are interested in moving to Savage Worlds. With all the Skyrim and Game of Thrones lately...the chance to play in this type of settings more than makes up for it being another fantasy setting...i hope.~Grimm182~ (GMT-8)/WA

I ran a fair bit of Hellfrost but not on FG (only like 2 one-shots). The Hellfrost skin for FG is beautiful. Hellfrost is probably the Savage Worlds setting with the most material released for it. It's basically a post-apocalyptic fantasy setting. Magic items are rare and magic users can suffer the siphoning if they miscast. It's a PP less magic system. It's offers a new take on traditional fantasy races. It has rules like Glory to give it a skaldic/northman feel. You can run it epic fantasy or dark fantasy. There are several threats of different origins and is ripe with plot hooks on every page. You can stick to publish modules that will take your players from Novice to Legendary or run your own material but there is no plot point campaign. With all it's supplements and Region Guides you have enough material for a lifetime. If you're lucky enough to have two lives, you can move over to Hellfrost Land of Fire which is a Al-Quadim type of region in the same world filled with new races, options and of course new threats.

Thank you
I have run some games of Hellfrost the biggest thing to remember as a GM is that (unless the party do not pick a priest who can heal), is that after every fight the party will be fully healed! Keep a close eye on the sins of any priest character's faith as they must be strictly enforced.
It is a good setting and a lot of fun.My players just defeated an army, had a dogfight with aliens, machine-gunned the zombies, stormed the tower, became Legendary and died heroically
Yours are still on combat round 6
Get Savage
