Character Effects not applying
Although I see effects in the Notes/Character Effects tab they don't seem to be applying when I roll. Like farsight added a [ATK: 1, ranged], but when I roll my longbow it's not adding the +1 to the attack roll. Anyone know why that might be happening? fyi, the ruleset was being shared by the gm, but we couldn't figure out why the effects weren't being applied.

Is the character on the Combat Tracker, and has the effect been applied to the character from the actions tab. When you make an attack do you see in chat [EFFECTS +1] or similar message.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

I checked this and it is working. My guess is Zacch is right and he was not added to the combat tracker.

Another cause may be that the effect was added after the character was already added to the CT. You will need to remove the character, add the effect to the notes section, then add the character back to the CT.
If the effect is not permanent, I find it better to just create a spell on the main tab of Character Sheet, and then apply the effect like you would with a normal spell. That way I can automate it to auto-remove, or turn it on/off from the CT myself (some GM's may not like/allow players this much control).

Thanks all. Yes, removing and then adding back characters to the combat tracker showed the effects. Working now thx.
