Looking for Rolemaster, or similar, game in the UK.

Myself and a friend would like to join a UK based game, hopefully RMC but would also be interested in RMU or D&D for example. We can commit to play every couple of weeks initially. We’re both “old” and have played the classics at one time or another: Rolemaster, Cthulhu, AD&D etc. and then moved to PC / console gaming and are looking to get back into the swing of things.

Is this the best place to ask / look? Are there other forums I should check out? I wondered if Dicebreaker had a discord but I can’t find one.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I might be able to help with your query. I am running D&D 3.5 games in FG, started when the world went into lockdown. But I've been a DM since my teens and I am at least your age. 3.5 is pretty much the same as Pathfinder 1, and is more like the old D&D than 5E. Anyway, I am in Canada, UTC-5, but that means an evening game for you would be afternoon for me. Since I'm retired I can make my own schedule. My current game runs Wednesday afternoons my time, and I have a player from Australia. I use Discord but I can use whatever voice works best for you. I've used Jitsi and Skype to play as well. I have a bunch of material for FG based on a couple of D&D modules but I also do a lot of seat-of-the-pants DMing. Either is good. I have my own world that I set my adventures in. I like a fun mix of role play and adventure; ideally we will create our own fantasy experience.
I could start up a game right away and I have the full FG license. You only need the demo program. Please fire me a personal message if you're interested.

Hello Everyone

I can give you an advice. There is a game called Against the Darkmaster. Don't know if you heard before. It is literally the steamrolled version of MERP and the related materials are quite cheap to have. This is something that is, I guess, close to what you look for. A Rolemaster style game. They have a Discord channel, there are people who host and look for games there. It can be an option maybe for you'all. I am gonna do a Against the Darkmaster solo play to learn the game better (I am experienced in D&D but not in this genre). Probably over 1-2 months, I can get ready for a proper campaign for other players. I already created the map, story, setting exc. But, I just need to get more proficient in the rules. I run one Friday 8:30 EST usually every other Weekend and another GM is starting one that runs on Sundays noon time 12:00 EST. Both have players from England.
