Token frame creation using GIMP and Token Tool

So I am using gimp o create custom token frames and everything looks right, The two imgs are merged, Darksun logo and a token frame.

Then when I put it in token tool it has the white background behind it.

Is there a step I'm missing that I need to do, what am I not doing right? Any help would be appreciated.

I think you only have one layer for your token frame. You have to have a second layer in your token ring image that shows what to mask out around the token ring. Make a second layer of a solid color and cut-out a section exactly the size of your token ring.
