There's no drawback in running it as part of the con. I would suppose they have boon support, so that would be a bonus.

Which subtier will it be?

For subtier 1-2, I would probably bring a Mystic 2, and for subtier 3-4, I'd bring either a Soldier 1/ Operative 2 or a Solarian 4.

Unless I hear anything to the contrary in the next few hours though, I'll try to get it sorted out with the con organizers.

Subtier will depend on the players (subtier 1-2 might be slightly more likely).
