Will the second edition be a separate product or will it be like D&D or Star Trek, with the possibility to switch between editions on the fly?
We haven't made that determination yet. It normally depends on how similar they are. If they are close enough, we try to allow them to work alongside one another or auto-convert.
Are you familiar enough with the two versions to let us know how you would expect it to be handled from a customer perspective?
I'll give you my views as soon as the new rules are available in pdf (but I won't be buying the kickstarter as I prefer to buy real books in French).I love what you have done with Call of Cthulhu: 2 separate rulesets but with a system that transforms old v6 characteristics to v7.
