I'm not North American so i need to use exchange currency money to buy things in FG Store.
The exchange is a little harsh right now, so even a little discount i can get in any USD currency makes a good difference to me, so i have a couple questions.
1) Does FG do frequent sales on the Gold used in FG Forge? If yes, how often and where can i see/subscripe to sales announcements?
2) Is there any way i can buy Forge gold using Steam funds?
I've seen that 1000 gold is like 10 USD usually.
Maybe someone else has seen something else, but as far as I know the Forge gold has always been a fixed price to USD. Don't think their is any link to Steam. Sorry I can't say for certain.

If it is steam, I can even buy expensive ones thanks to steam wallet. I just save wallet money for 2+ months instead of buying it at once. Everyone wins. And SW wouldnt have to deal with credit card security.
There are some games that sells MTX currency does this.

I'm not at all poor, but because most software are sold in USD, everything gets very expensive when you sum it all up and multiply by currency exchanges.
A simple hobby can get veeeeeery expensive.
For example. A syrinscape product that is 80 usd, for me is 500 (almost half minimum wage).
Also, the modern subscription models gets very expensive over time, so most products, when prices are not localized, becomes very expensive.

It is perhaps not the most ideal solution for you but Forge gold is given away to Games Day GMs. In addition to the free gold you get can get $5 credit per game on any future PDFs you need. Ask about details on discord server if rewards can still be claimed.
