Cheapest and Quickest Way for Solo Play in FGU

Rate this Entry
Before I start to explain all the methods in detail, I thought you might want to quickly jump into action with least possible work, in the cheapest way possible. I got you covered:

NOTE: These are FGU modules. Basic rules and SRD Data are provided in FGU which includes all classes and monsters (bestiary) to play but there is no "feats" data in them. You'll still need at least Player Handbook IF you want automation.

D&D 5th Edition Solo Rules FGU Module - 4$

https://www.dmsguild.com/product/319...antasy-Grounds From Peter Rudin-Burgess

This simple module (for D&D 5E) takes the form of a Storyboard, giving solo roleplay advice and links to tables for a range of Oracles. You can output your oracle's answers either to story entries to later link them to your campaign book or directly to the chat window where it becomes part of your game log. Here's a youtube guide below.

It will still be necessary to learn about Freeform Association Method to take advantage of it. Check Overview Of Solo Gameplay for a summary of methods you can use.

# Random Generators:

JimSocks' Content Generator 2020

To be used with JimSocks' Content Generator 2020 for all the things that you might need with the Oracle: NPCs, taverns, village & cities, merchants, and other places, secret societies, even a whole campaign, and more!
NOTE: There are links to Player's Handbook (2014) and Dungeon Master's Manual (2014) in the Plot Gen. If you're playing with (free) SRD data, you won't be able to use the links but you still can use SRD equivalent classes, etc to create your own. Also, if you don't have DMG you won't be able to create the 2 villain classes (Anti Paladin, Evil High Priest) at all, but instead, you can create a normal Paladin & Cleric and play them mean.

D&D 5E Sellers Shop (Tables with BG Pic and Item Pins)

Name Generator for D&D 5E

Onomatology (From Jay Moore) is the study of proper names, their origin and their history. There is a table for every race in D&D 5E except for humans. Pay What You Want.

If you like the Pay What You Want content, don't forget to buy the authors a cup of coffee, if you can.
But if you want a deep-dive into SP, I will start explaining everything from the beginning to the end. Including other, more comprehensive Oracles, free and paid resources, and guide you through them along with the Methods I talked about earlier.

EDIT CANCELLED: Wait for me as I'll turn these into a game template in the Module version of the guide. And guide you through them. Demo version will include my oracle if you don't want to use above Oracle, but mine is not professional.

UPDATE: I was testing JimSocks' Content Gen 2020 for my guide's module and I'm having problems on generating from templates. It might be because I borked the campaign by first loading extensions then removing them. Or the gen is old and the new theme update has conflicts. DndSpeak tables still have enough content though. I will open a topic about it in forums later.

EDIT: It's working. I just broke my campaign.

EDIT: I know it's a bit late to mention this but I forgot to add about the usage of Content Creator 2020.
